Slow Cooker Macaroni And Beef is one of those easy, classic ground beef slow cooker recipes that's great to whip up any time of year. Made with elbow macaroni, cheddar cheese, and bacon for an added flair, you kids will love it too! Make a big batch, and freeze leftovers for another meal--this is one of those slow cooker casserole recipes that's freezable and just as great the second time around. To lighten up the dish, you can swap out ground beef for ground turkey. The best part of this recipe is that it cooks all day. You can prep it and then leave it to cook while you're away. You'll come to a warm, satisfying meal.

Serves: 6

Cooking Time: 8 hr

I'm from Conway, S.C., and I call a dish like this "goulash", I love this kind of recipe because everything is in one pot, thanks!

There were two things I was wary about concerning this recipe, but I followed it anyway. First was the amount of fresh garlic, second was the can of water. We love garlic, but 6 cloves wound up being way too much, and overpowered the dish completely. In an attempt to counteract the garlic, I added some sweetener and that really helped. As for the can of water, I should have eliminated that because I didn't add the noodles raw to the crockpot. We don't like undercooked or overcooked noodles, so that can of water just made the sauce very runny.
