Yummy. Look at the presentation for this dessert. My husband has a penchant for lemon (actually lemonade) and I would like to surprise him with this new dessert. Family coming over this weekend so this is the perfect time to try it.

I would never think to spoon out the cake and put it into containers. It makes for a much prettier presentation. I like that you used fresh lemons and the zest to make this dessert since most of the recipes are dump cakes. I like the change because it gives you a little something extra to keep in your recipe folder for special occasions.

I know I have never baked a cake with buttermilk before. I can only imagine the mixture of buttermilk and lemon will give you a great taste sensation if you enjoy tart. The recipe is easy enough to follow and by preparing in the slow cooker, it will keep the kitchen nice and cool.

When I think of cake, I think of nice even slices, but this recipe is quickly changing my mind. I like that you used a simple box cake for this lemon spoon cake. I generally bake from scratch, but this is a great go to when you need something in a jiffy. Thanks for the recipe.

If you print it you don't get the wallpaper. However I agree that the first impression is very offputting!

I could not read the receipe. Looks like a wall paper has covered everything up. Sounds like it would be good. Maybe you should take a look at it. Jann
