Cuchina Safe Microwave Vented Glass Lid

The microwave is the most convenient way to warm food, but the results aren't always the best; the Cuchina Safe Microwave Vented Glass Lid is changing that! This 8" lid goes over any bowl you are warming to properly vent heat for delicious results. The glass lid can also be used to cover pots on the stove, and can go in the dishwasher for a simple clean-up.

As anyone who has used a microwave before knows, without a lid, your food is going to go flying. The problem is, most leftovers get stored in plastic containers or in a bowl. The plastic lids release harmful chemicals and can quickly melt in the microwave. This borosilicate glass is not only safe, but you can use it time and time again. It is shockingly strong and shock-resistant.

I was amazed by how well food came out of the microwave when I switched to covering items with this lid. It allows the right amount of steam out to keep your food from getting soggy, a tell-tale sign it was microwaved. Not only does this lid help to re-heat food properly, it can also be used to cook food right in your microwave! I especially liked using it to steam fresh vegetables and to make popcorn without a bag.

This simple glass lid makes a remarkable difference in the kitchen. Next time you think you need to heat up your oven to enjoy last night's dinner for lunch, think again!
