Cuisinart 6.5 Quart Programmable Slow Cooker

The Cuisinart 6.5 Quart Programmable Slow Cooker is versatile and easy to operate. Making slow cooker snacks, dinners, and desserts is super simple with this model from Cuisinart. The 6.5-quart size is wonderful for making large meals for a crowd.



I love the simplicity in the design of this slow cooker. There are just a few, clearly marked buttons, and an easy to interpret screen. Just plug it in, select the power level, and set the timer. I love that the cord is completely retractable, so when you want to store the appliance, it is simple. 



I test the slow cooker with some basic operations. I also made one of the recipes included in the recipe booklet they include with the appliance. The Chili Spiced Nuts came out wonderfully and now I am excited to make the other recipes in the booklet. 



The appliance also includes a rack insert. This allows you to make cake recipes, pies, and other baked recipes in the slow cooker. It is truly incredible what you can do with this countertop cooker.



One of the more unique features on this Cuisinart model is the simmer function. This allows you to do the prep steps in your slow cooker without using another pan on the stove. It not only saves clean up time, but also makes slow cooker recipes less complicated.
