I love that this set includes such a range of sizes. The nine bowls are the following sizes: 1 ounce, 2 ounce, 4 ounce, 6 ounce, 10 ounce, 1/2 quart, 1 quart, 1- 1/2 quart, and 2-1/2 quart in capacity.  The smaller bowls are ideal for prepping and holding ingredients like garlic, onions, and more. The three larger bowls are best for mixing and combining ingredients.

Duralex is well-known for the high quality glass they use in their designs. The tempered glass they use is actually two and a half times more resistant to breakage and chipping than normal glass. It can also withstand sudden thermal shock: from -4 degrees F to 212 degrees F. This is so important when working with hot and cold foods.
