Taylor Slow Cooker Probe Thermometer

Taylor Slow Cooker Probe Thermometer

Reviewed by Arielle Matlin, Editor,

The Taylor Slow Cooker Probe Thermometer is a handy tool that ensures food comes out of the slow cooker perfectly cooked. It shaped like a slow cooker and has a magnet so you can keep it attached to the cooker. The probe gives an accurate reading and you can even keep the lid of your slow cooker on.

I really like the simplicity of this tool. It is small and just displays the temperature. It can show a reading in Fahrenheit or Celsius, depending on the user's preferred measurement. With a large range, up to 392 degrees F and 200 degrees C, it can handle any recipe you need.

The probe comes complete with all the ideal cooking temperatures listed on the back of the packaging. I love that it even includes items besides meat, like eggs and casseroles. This helps ensure your slow cooker meals come out exactly as they should each time.

The 45-minute automatic shut-off, helps prolong the life of the battery in the thermometer.  The magnet and stand option on the back of the thermometer lets you choose the most convenient location to keep it easy-to-read. The smart and simple design is wonderful. If you are someone who enjoys using the slow cooker, then this handy tool is a must-have!
