Salisbury steak is such an old-school meal, but it looks so good! What a comfort food for a winter night. I would use a packet of gravy, then serve this with corn and a side salad.

I was looking for new winter recipes and wow, this looks great. It also looks like a good "church lady" recipe. Perfect for taking comfort meals to those in need, or just for having at home on a winter night. Which did you do, the packet of gravy or the jar? I am thinking the packet would taste better. Any thoughts?

I love this boy it was wonderful and I love LOVE this website !!! It is the best recipe website ever ! :)

I made the patties a little thick, so it took a while longer to cook them, and I didn't have seasoned bread crumbs, so I seasoned it myself. This turned out very, very good and the boyfriend loved it. This is definitely a recipe that I will be making again!

i love this recipe as i grew up on my mothers version
