Try making a traditional English breakfast recipe with these Slow Cooker Breakfast Baked Beans! This simple slow cooker recipe takes baked beans and intensifies their flavor by adding interesting ingredients like Canadian bacon, maple syrup, and coffee to make for a deliciously intriguing take on a classic. These beans are so savory and slightly sweet; they really shine over a plain piece of toast. The thick, flavorful sauce will really bring some excitement to your breakfast table! The beans are also super filling, so this is a great breakfast that will keep you full until lunch.

If you are on a low carbohydrate or high protein diet, this savory breakfast dish is the perfect start to your day! I know I would rather have a bowl full of this than one of those thick chalky protein shakes any day! The Canadian bacon, which is more like a ham, adds great flavor while negating the step of having to cook it first!

Baked beans for breakfast?! Interesting. With all of the additions, this would be a unique recipe to try.
