  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup cream of wheat, uncooked
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup coconut oil
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 1 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients, aside from blueberries and almonds, to the slow cooker. 

  2. Stir to combine.

  3. Cook on high for 1.5 hours or on low for 6-7 hours. Let it slow cook overnight for a truly tasty breakfast. 

  4. Serve with blueberries and almonds.

This isn't JUST cream of wheat, this is a hearty breakfast casserole for the entire family. This must make at least enough to serve 6-8. I am one of those who would prepare it the night before because I am not getting up 1.5-2 hours earlier in the morning to cook this -) It's got peanut butter!?
