Is there no way to use boneless chicken in this recipe? My family will not eat bone-in chicken no matter what way I make it, but they will all try a dish that has boneless chicken and some kind of sauce with it or on it. They often find out they like it, but I won't tell them that.

Hi SissieSass, I think you could replace the bone-in chicken with about 2 pounds of chicken breasts. I hope that helps! - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes

I like that mixed pieces of chicken are used in this recipe. Most slow cooker recipes call for one thing or the other. That way everybody can get the piece that they want! Since the chicken is bone in and skin on, it really maintains a wonderful flavor without getting "washed out" by the liquids. Moist, tender, and spicy on the outside!

What makes this recipe unique is that the meat is browned before it is placed in the slow cooker. Many recipes have the meat placed under the broiler once it comes out of the slow cooker. I also like the other healthy ingredients. I will give this one a try. #BestIdeaEver.

This chicken looks so delicious! It would be perfect for an easy spring dinner. I'll have to break out my slow cooker!
