Never have I tried making this monkey bread. I haven't even eaten this before! As I read the recipe directions, I am confident that I could pull this off, being a first-timer and all. As for the suggestions below, I will take those into consideration, and come up with my own idea of throwing in a handful of sweetened and dried cranberries! Because I think they go great with anything pumpkin.

How much fresh ginger would you grate up and use for this dish? I think this sounds like a perfect breakfast recipe like trishclark529 used it for one day. I love having stuff like this ready in the morning on a cold day. It sure beats having oatmeal every morning.

What a delicious slow cooker recipe! I made this for breakfast the other morning. I threw it on before bed, and we all woke up to a wonderful hot breakfast. I did replace some of the brown sugar with honey. I didn't measure it, but it was delicious in this recipe. I also added a few pecans. This is a great recipe, and there are so many ways you could customize this to your own tastes!
