Wow, does this look great! I can't wait to give it a try. I never would have thought to use pop with beef, but I am intrigued and will give it a try.

I have used Coca Cola on ham but never thought of using in on a chuck roast. However the combination of the onion soup mix and the coke makes sense. The local market always sells chuck roasts at a good price so this will be an inexpensive and tasty meal. It is so easy as well. I work from home and I just have to prepare everything before I start, pop it in the slow cooker and I will have a delicious meal when I am done. Just make a side salad and you are all set. It is making me hungry thinking about it.

This looks like a great, easy recipe for the slow cooker. My hubby loves beef and pot roast is one of his favorites, especially with potatoes, carrots, onions and celery. I love cooking it for him, and the idea that I could just toss it in the slow cooker is very appealing. I would serve it with rice for a real rib-sticking meal. I need to try this one very soon!

that's one mighty fine looking roast you got there. Mmmm. Mmmmm. Mmmm. I'm going to have to test it out.
