I have been looking for an easy macaroni and cheese recipe. Our kids are stuck on a brand name from a box. This is one I am going to try ASAP to see if I can pull the dear children to the homemade side of mac and cheese. I like that it is a basic recipe without the addition of "different" ingredients. I am hopeful this will make it one the kids will love.

This is a really good, simple way to make my all time favorite food. I made this, and I couldn't wait for it to be done. When I tried it, it was so good. I did use some shredded pepper jack, in addition to the sharp cheddar, for a little added kick. I love macaroni and cheese, and this recipe did not disappoint!

What a fun way to make your favorite comfort food while doing something else. I love to make homemade mac and cheese, but hate the time and effort to do all the baking in the oven. This is a great way to make it and have one dish to clean without all the work. Thanks so much!

How fabulous. I love that I could leave it on while getting errands done during the day and have some homemade mac 'n' cheese waiting for me when I get home!

Tasted fine, but I don't care HOW I tweaked it, the cheese separated into gross-looking clumps. Apparently this is something that just happens when you cook cheese for long periods of time. :P
