If you are someone who loves the smell of freshly-baked bread in the morning, then this slow-cooker bread recipe for No-Knead Overnight Biscuits is perfect for you. This recipe doesn't require any kneading, you can simply pop your dough balls into the slow cooker before you go to bed and wake up to fresh biscuits in the morning. Eat the biscuits for breakfast or throughout the day. Slow cooker recipes like this one are great because they cook for you while you sleep.


Set the temperature on KEEP WARM or your slow cooker's equivalent while the biscuits cook. Do not cook overnight on LOW or HIGH.

I love that you can make the biscuits overnight. We like to make sausage gravy to go over our biscuits on the weekend. I think that is one of our favorite things is to make a big breakfast and then be lazy all day when we have the chance to that is.

This is a definitely a great recipe to someone who hasn't made their own homemade biscuits before because it encourages you to use a dough mix! Read the instructions very carefully before starting because they are very specific. I would add in some chopped chives and use a butter glaze to add some extra flavor.

wow-buttery slow cooker biscuits! Thank you for such an easy idea to use Bisquick and make great no- knead biscuits. I probably won't make these for breakfast, but definitely for dinner. I can't wait to see how they work in a warm slower cooker that is not "cooking".
