This recipe for Fisherman's Bouillabaisse Stew is packed with tons of veggies, white fish, shellfish and even some wine. Fish stew recipes like this one are filling without being heavy, and are great for a belly-warming meal during any time of the year. After putting the veggies, fennel, bay leaf and orange peel into the slow cooker, the white fish and frozen seafood are added. Finally, the remaining ingredients are whisked together in a bowl and poured over the slow cooker ingredients. Cooking this slow cooker stew recipe for six hours will allow all of the flavors to meld together, giving you a delicious dish that is good enough for a French restaurant.

Whenever I go to a nice restaurant, I tend to order seafood dishes much like this one, since I don't get to eat them much at home. My husband and son don't care for seafood. For about the same price as I would spend at a fancy restaurant on a meal, I can make this at home for myself! And trust me - I will eat the leftovers! A real treat.
