Simple Slow Cooker Shrimp Chowder

Ingredients

  • 4 slice bacon, cooked ( pre cooked real bacon pieces can be substituted)
  • 16 ounce shrimp, cooked and peeled
  • 3 cup chicken Broth
  • 3 cup red skin potatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced
  • 1/4 cup onion, diced
  • 1 (15-ounce) can sweet corn
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika, sweet
  • 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk (fat free can be used)
  • 1 (14-3/4-ounce) can creamed corn

Instructions

  1. Place onion, potatoes, celery, broth, corn (not creamed), Worcestershire sauce, bay leaf, and paprika) in a medium sized slow cooker. Cook on LOW for 6-7 hours.

  2. After 6-7 hours, add shrimp, bacon and evaporated milk and creamed corn. Cook on low for an additional 30 Minutes.
