Looking for a tasty slow cooker seafood recipe? You're in luck. This Deliciously Easy Shrimp Marinara Pasta recipe is a delightful dish you can set and forget in your slow cooker. Let the marinara sauce stew all day in your slow cooker, and 15 minutes before you're ready to eat, dump in a package of shrimp to complete the meal. It's mom's Sunday gravy made even easier! 

Don't want shrimp? Feel free to spice up this dish with chicken, meatballs, or anything else your family craves.

Ingredients

  • 1 can peeled tomatoes, cut up
  • 2 tablespoon minced parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 (6-ounce) can of tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 pound cooked, deveined shrimp
  • grated parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine tomatoes, parsley, garlic, basil, salt and pepper, oregano, and tomato paste in your slow cooker. Mix well. 

  2. Cover slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours. 

  3. After slow cooking for 6-7 hours, turn your slow cooker to high. Dump in cooked shrimp, and cover for another 15 minutes. 

  4. Serve over noodles, zoodles, or any pasta of your choosing. Enjoy!
