Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cabbage, shredded
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 potatoes, diced
  • 1 (14-ounce) package smoked kielbasa sausage, sliced
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (14-1/2-ounce) can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Lightly spray the insert of a large slow cooker with cooking spray.

  2. Add the cabbage, onion, potatoes and sausage. Season with the garlic powder, dry mustard, salt and pepper.

  3. Stir in the tomatoes, vinegar and 1 cup of the chicken broth, reserve the other cup for later if needed.

  4. Cook on Low for 4-6 hours or on High for 2-3 hours.

  5. Check half way and add some additional chicken broth if needed.

  6. Top with caraway seeds and serve.
