I hate making beef broccoli in my stir fry pan on the stove, with added oil- fat! But I LOVE eating it. So, what's a girl to do? Take advantage of her slow cooker and use it to make a no fuss beef broccoli. No messy oil on stove. I love it.

If you want the broccoli a little more on the crunchy side, you can add it later on in the cooking process. This is surely one of the easiest Asian style dishes for the slow cooker, since the beef doesn't require any breading or pre - frying. The leftovers even make a great wrap for lunch the next day!

Did you find that the meat wanted to shred after you added the broccoli and cooked it for longer? I think it will taste excellent no matter how long you cook it with the flavors you chose, but I understand what you mean about keeping the beef intact for the sake of the dish. I love the idea!

What an easy way to make Chinese food. The picture is making me very hungry. I would be a little worried about cooking the broccoli because I would want it to be just the right crispness. Beef and broccoli is my favorite Chinese meal so I am looking forward to trying it.
