Wow, this looks good! I always make green bean casserole for Thanksgiving, but I never considered adding bacon. Genius!

You had me at bacon. Bacon makes everything taste better. I do like green beans also. This recipe only requires a few ingredients and putting them together only takes a few moments. During the next family or church social gathering I believe I will bring this as a side dish.

I was hoping to find a green bean casserole for my slow cooker to make on Easter Sunday. I wanted to free up the oven for the ham. I am thrilled I found this in time! I like that it's different from traditional green bean casserole. I like the addition of bacon.

In my fifty plus years on this earth, I have never tried any Green Bean Casserole. This recipe (bacon, bacon!!!) looks so simple and if it is as tasty as it sounds with minimal ingredients, I think I have found a new side dish for our family Sunday get-together meals.
