I want to make this one night for my family, but I have to double the recipe. Do you think it would still get done in 7 to 8 hours, or would I have to let it go even longer? I want to make it so it is ready when we all get home in the evening after our busy days.

I tried this recipe the other day and no one liked it. Tasted very bland, like something was missing. Maybe it would be better made with sphegetti sauch rather than marinara sauch. Don't know. I will never make this recipe ever again. So disappointed.
