Who doesn't love a hearty chili?!? I can't wait to try out this recipe, as I really like chili in winter. This recipe looks easy to make, too.

This is a delicious recipe. I like that you can customize it for your tastes. If you want it hotter or milder, you could do that! I used beans that I cooked, instead of canned beans. I didn't have any canned on hand. I also used my own spice mix instead of the listed spice mix. This chili is so good! We all loved it. It's also really good on top of cheddar fries, which is a requirement for chili in my house.

I have been looking for a copy of Wendy's chili so I am happy to find a slow-cooked version. What is an Anaheim Pepper? Is it hot? My family loves chili on football Sundays, but we like our chili mild, not spicy. This sounds like it would be good with grilled cheese sandwiches.

My husband thinks I am insane because I think Wendy's literally has the best chili on earth. I am so excited to try this recipe...it could save us a lot of money buying it at Wendy's. Our kids have taken my recommendation and that is their favorite too. When my husband makes chili, he gets the whole pot to himself..lol. There is absolutely nothing like Wendy's chili.

I am always looking for new chili recipes. I would start this with lean ground beef and increase the heat with some crushed red pepper flakes. I would add a bit of cumin powder and extra chili powder. I might add some frozen or fresh corn. I'm looking forward to making this recipe.
