I made this last Christmas - It was wonderful! Plan on making it again! Super easy and super good!

I love peanut brittle, especially homemade... will have to try the slow cooker method soon

Wow! This looks like such an easy way to make this -- I never would have thought of this!

I make this stuff every year and it is difficult to get it to turn out just right. I think this should be easier to make and easier to eat.

I have read and re-read the recipe. When do you add the peanuts? There is no mention of them being in the crock pot at all. Did I miss something? Do you start out the cooking process with the peanuts or are they added after the first 30 minutes of cooking? Please clarify...

It looks like after 1 1/2 hr. you stir in the nuts. At least that is what I got out of the recipe. Hope that helps.
