Do you have a preference on the bacon you use for this dish? I like to use a thick cut of bacon that is smoked with apple wood for the best flavor. The thicker the better, and if it has a maple flavor to boot, that is even better for me. I love this idea for creamed corn. I can't wait to taste it.
