This dish has everything your body needs for a well-rounded meal, all in one pot. Your protein, vegetable, carb. Not really any dairy in there, but who needs that when you've got something so tasty? This is the kind of recipe I would make during the busy weekdays. Plus, slow cooker recipes are the best for warm weather because I don't have to be in the kitchen at a hot stove!
