Well, I have never heard of pineapple cobbler before! It seems like a nice option for the summertime. I think you could even make it in a foil 9X13 pan that comes with a plastic lid, and bring this to a picnic! Cobblers do not really have to be warm to eat them. SO make ahead and put in fridge overnight!

I love the recipe, and I think it will be delicious. I can see making this for a party or holiday when everyone is expecting traditional pineapple upside down cake. My husband loves cobblers, so I bet he will love this one because it has all the flavors he likes as long as the texture is similar to baked cobbler.

Pineapple chunks can be rather large. I wonder if the pineapple tidbits would work? Better yet..half pineapple tidbits and half crushed pineapple? Has anyone altered this recipe at all? I want to try it as written first, but thinking the other forms of pineapple might work better.

Hi irwind45150 5363438 - That substitution sounds like it would work well to us; please let us know how it turns out! -Editors of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes.com

In the recipe, it calls for 3/4 cup of milk. I was wondering if you could substitute part or all of the milk with the pineapple juice (not syrup). I do this with Pineapple Upside Down Cakes that call for water, and the flavor is greatly enhanced.

Hi skrisch0415 5688113 - Thanks for your message. We suggest that you go to the recipe page and highlight the text, then right-click on it. You'll get a window that gives you the option to "copy." Do that, and then paste the text into a word document. You should be able print that document that way. Another option is to highlight exactly what you would like to be printed. Then, select print from your dropdown menu, and change your print range from all to selection. We hope this helps! -Editors of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes

Could not find a way to print. Kind of useless.

Hope this helps. Once you have highlighted the text you want to print, hover the mouse over the highlighted text, click on the right mouse button and a drop down menu should come up. Scroll down and click print and that should print only the highlighted area. Whether you are trying to 'copy' the text or 'print' the highlighted text, you must have you mouse cursor over the highlighted area when you click on your right mouse button, or the drop-down menu will not come up. good luck

My wife made this for the first time for our 4th of July party and everyone just loved it, most begged her for the recipe so I went to this web site and printed it off for them and also gave them the web address so the can join also. thanks for such flavorful recipes
