Bring the essence of autumn into your home with these Brown Sugar Cinnamon Baked Apples. Hot baked cinnamon apples like these are so easy to make and are a great way to bake a delicious and healthy dessert in your slow cooker. This baked apples with cinnamon recipe calls for a mixture of brown sugar, cinnamon, and oats that is then poured into freshly cored apples. Bake the apples in your slow cooker and finish them off by topping them with a piece of butter. This will melt into the hot apple, creating a rich and generously sweet flavor you won't be able to get enough of! These are great treats for a Halloween party, or even for a Thanksgiving dessert item.

Oh my gosh how great are these Brown Sugar Cinnamon Baked Apples. I have never had baked apples with oatmeal in them, so have to try this recipe and it sounds so good and easy to make. So much better then heating the oven just put them in the slow cooker and 2 to 3 hours later you'll have a great dessert. Serve with vanilla ice cream or heave cream pored over the top is how my family eats baked apples. I bet these will be great tasting just as is. Thank you so much for sharing this free slow cooker recipe.

This has got to be one of the simplest recipes that I have ever seen for apples. I love that you use them whole and make them instead of slicing them up like you see in many recipes. What makes it even better is that you use fresh apples instead of apple pie filling.
