When dinner seems like a chore, you won't be putting in your best work. That's why we're giving you this easy slow cooker chicken breast recipe for Slow Cooker Creamy Ranch Chicken. This slow cooker chicken recipe cooks itself, giving you all the time in the world. Simply mix a can of cream of chicken soup together in a bowl with one packet of dry ranch dressing mix and milk. Place your chicken breasts and veggies in your slow cooker, and pour the creamy mixture over them. Let it cook all day, and come home to a wonderful meal that you'll be proud to serve.

Notes

Ranch dressing and flavor has taken over America, and we don't seem to have any objections. From kids who love to dip their carrot sticks and pizza crusts in ranch dressing, to 20-somethings who are more likely to bring a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos to the party rather than the original flavor, this phenomenon has made a name for itself in America and it's definitely here to stay.

Ranch dressing now competes with blue cheese as the best happy hour companion to plates of dollar hot wings and half-priced beers. It even comes in powdered form so you can amp up the flavor of literally any dish you choose -- chicken, pork chops and potatoes seem to be favorite choices.

Hidden Valley Ranch actually does exist, for those who may have thought it was purely a mythical land where waterfalls of creamy goodness kept churning out their favorite condiment, but the ranch where the dressing originated is actually just outside Santa Barbara, Calif.

I like these dishes where every food group is represented all in one dinner. It is the easiest and fastest way to get a healthy and well rounded meal. I think you could surely do an Italian instead of the ranch- why not? I actually think that I may prefer the taste of that over the Hidden Valley Ranch! LOVE me some baby carrots, too! And lots of fresh parsley.

I am still not sure whether I like the flavor or ranch chicken or not. I like it on chicken, but to cook it in the dish, I am just not sure I will like it. Do you think that Italian dressing would work good in this recipe too? I am more likely to get my guests to eat Italian over ranch.

This is a wonderful slow cooker all in one meal. What comfort food. I used to think making a whole dinner like this was a big ordeal until I started using my slow cooker. Now I throw everything in the cooker in the morning, enjoy the smell of the food cooking all day, and have a great dinner ready after work. This will be a good meal!
