Here is a terrific game day recipe that is incredibly easy and delicious. Your menu will be complete with these pulled chicken sandwiches doused in a tangy barbecue sauce that will set your mouth ablaze. It's as easy as putting some chicken breasts in the slow cooker, pouring in your favorite barbecue sauce and the cooking fest begins. When the chicken breasts are soft and juicy you pull them out to shred and put them back in for an hour to soak up some more barbecue juices. Your party will be a hit with pulled chicken sandwiches that are always a winner.

This recipe looks so good and easy to make! I will have to keep this in mind the next time I'm feeding a crowd for dinner.

Did you get this idea from Dairy Queen? I went there last year for Mother's Day and was very pleasantly surprised at the food options they had ready. The pulled chicken was something I had never tried, so I got a sandwich, and it was DELICIOUS! I made pulled chicken that next week. My favorite BBQ sauce is Sweet Baby Ray's. What is yours?

I love this recipe for 2 ingredient slow cooker pulled chicken! First, I love anything in a crock pot but to make a big batch of pulled chicken for bbq is heaven. And the idea of being able to use any bbq sauce with it is a bonus for home made sauce lovers. Can you do the same thing with pork? For shredded bbq pork?

Hi kenziewood07, yes I think you could try this same recipe using pork. The cooking time may be different, but you will know it is done once it reaches a temperature of 165 degrees F (or 73 degrees C). - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes

Chicken, BBQ sauce, and a crockpot? Yes, please! I love BBQ chicken, especially in the crockpot. This is one of the easiest recipes I have seen yet. Does anyone know what would happen if you make this in a bigger crockpot? I do not have a 3 quart crockpot, only a 6 quart I think. Also, what if I wanted to make this while I was at work for the day? I will have to give this some thought.

Hi elocin1104, since slow cookers work best when they're at least half full, I'm not sure how it would work to make this recipe in a 6-quart slow cooker. I would recommend making a larger portion or using your 6-quart slow cooker, but cooking it for less time. I hope this is helpful! - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes

I'm not sure why I've never tried this before. Super easy and tasty! Everyone liked it. I made sandwiches on steak house rolls. I did save some time and didn't measure the sauce out. I just added until it looked right. After it was done, I also cracked the lid while we finished getting everything else ready to allow some of the extra liquid to evaporate.

I can't wait to try this. I have always loved pulled pork and pulled chicken recipes. Do you think it would also work for turkey? I am trying to make a good turkey chili, and this seems like a good way to get the shredded turkey I am looking for. And the chicken here would make a good base for chilli, too!

Hi kenziewood07, I think you could definitely use this recipe to cook turkey breast. Let us know how it turns out! - Natalie, Editor AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes

I love the concept of pulled chicken. It's not one of the popular 'pulled meats' like pork or beef. Those also take very long to get to the pulled stage but the chicken doesn't so this is an excellent idea. I'm loving it and I'm going to make I think the family is going to love it.

Okay, really - stop what you're doing and save this recipe ASAP. I've been trying to find a few slow cooker staple dinners and wow, this one made it to the top of the list. It's way too easy to not try! It takes very little effort at all and dinner will be absolutely delicious. I mean, what more can you ask for? I paired this with a Civil War Mac and Cheese recipe on RecipeLion.com man oh man was it a hit with my family!

The first time I made pulled chicken, it was by accident. It was a lazy Sunday and I did not feel like cooking. It was an easy as this recipe states and turned out so delicious. Yum

Why don't I ever think to make pulled chicken? I make pulled pork a lot, but never think to do chicken. I have put chicken breasts and enchilada sauce or salsa in my slow cooker for the day to make chicken enchiladas or tacos. I wonder if I would put the chicken in and add buffalo wing sauce, or would it be too hot?
