I have always wondered how these recipes work. I like that you can just put the ingredients in the crock pot and leave it alone. I will definitely serve mine with some vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. My whole family will devour this dessert for sure. I bet my guests will love it during the holidays too.

This would be EVEN more delicious using a boxed butter cake dry cake mix! I totally would serve this to my small family for a weeknight dessert that is effortless to make. And super cheap, too. You can find the cake mix and the apple pie filling at the dollar store!

Directions although simple are vague. Do you prepare the cake mix as directed or use it dry??
