Learn how to cook the perfect goulash in your slow cooker with this Traditional Hungarian Goulash recipe. This slow cooker Hungarian goulash recipe is so authentic, it will have you planning a trip to Budapest just to compare yours to the real thing! Put simply, this goulash is a delightful version of a classic beef stew. To create this classic soup recipe, you'll use chunks of beef, hearty potatoes, vegetables, and a tomato-beef broth infused with paprika. This beefy stew is perfect for a hot and comforting meal at the end of any long day. Try it with a thick slice of crispy bread for dunking and soaking up any leftover broth.

I love just about anything that is seasoned with paprika, and this recipe takes the cake! The rich color of the sauce and the warm aroma while it is cooking brings back memories of some of the old - country recipes that my German grandmother used to make. Paprika has been found to have amazing health benefits too, like being rich in vitamin E for hair, skin, and nails. A win - win!
