The slow cooker is used in this recipe to melt the mixture of brown sugar, molasses, corn syrup and butter together, and then this mixture is poured over the top of the popped popcorn. Oh, how Cracker Jack's takes me back in time to when I was a little girl. I can't wait to make this for my kids. They eat the boxes from the store and love it of course. I see you have cane sugar in the picture. Do you use a light or dark brown sugar for this recipe?
