I live in Michigan, and we are at a weird in - between point between summer and fall, when fresh corn is still abundant and cheap, but it is really starting to get cool in the evenings. I used an equivalent amount of fresh corn in this, and it was awesome! I just ran half of it through my blender for a few seconds to replicate the can of cream - style corn.
