Is almond bark the only thing you can use in this recipe, or can I use white chocolate chips perhaps? I can't use the almonds because my daughter is allergic to tree nuts, but this sounds really tasty. I think it could be a favorite that we would want to keep to serve to guests that stop by during the holiday season.

Hi SissieSass, there are typically no almonds in almond bark, so it should be safe to use, just be sure to double check the ingredient list to be sure. However, white chocolate chips would be a fine substitution. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes

Nuts and chocolates, chocolates and nuts. What better combination is there? (Peanut butter) I love to make homemade treats for my family and I never get tired of nut/chocolate recipes. I cannot recall ever using the assistance of a slow cooker to accomplish any of these tasty treats. Here is one to try out.
