For an easy and satisfying meal, you can't beat a pork roast that has simmered all day long in the slow cooker. This slow cook pork roast recipe takes a pork butt roast and combines it with sensational aromatics such as carrots, onion, and garlic. The pork then cooks in a braising liquid that combines two bottles of beer and beef broth. Beer-Braised Pork Roast only needs to be served up on a heaping pile of mashed potatoes to make a complete meal.

Can I just leave the mushrooms out of this dish, or should I add something in place of them like maybe water chestnuts or some celery? I am allergic, so I have to avoid them or use something else. I would say carrots, but that is already in the ingredient list. I could add more carrots in place of the mushrooms. I think my family will enjoy having a hot meal like this on a cold, winter day.
