We have a new and healthier take on bbq pulled pork. Our Skinny Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork has less fat and you can serve it on top of a bun, in a salad, or even as a pizza topping. Let your creativity flow. Pork sirloin tip roasts are extremely lean and are perfect to use for this skinnier recipe. Liquid is key in this slow cooker pulled pork recipe to help keep your very lean piece of meat moist. Adding barbecue sauce to the meat also gives it some moisture and flavor along with your other spices in this recipe. Enjoy your pork while thinking healthy thoughts.

Do you have an onion preference? We like to use red onions for most of our meals because the flavor pairs better with meats. I like the combination of red onion and bell peppers. It smells divine when you make sloppy joes or pulled pork with peppers. I can make sliders, subs, an over mashed potato dish, and many others with the combination of peppers, onion, and pork.
