It doesn't get any easier than this slow cooker chicken sandwich recipe! If you have 5 minutes and a slow cooker, you'll be able to prepare this easy recipe. Any cut of chicken works well for this recipe, but if you would like to save money, using frozen chicken breasts is a great option. Plus, you don't even need to thaw them beforehand. Ranch dressing mix, au jus gravy mix, and jarred pepperoncini peppers add delicious flavor to this recipe. After the chicken is done cooking, shred it with forks and serve it on your favorite type of buns.

How easy is this Mississippi chicken, am I right? I can put this on in the morning before I start my day and literally forget about it until dinner. It will let me know when it is getting done by the tantalizing smells it emits in the evening. Such a quick and easy dinner for busy weeknights.

When I first saw this recipe, I thought that using a stick of butter was a little overkill. But seeing as it makes about 3 pounds of this stuff, it really isn't that much. I love the kick and acidity of the pepperoncini peppers, and will probably add about twice the amount next time. This stuff is great on top of a salad for lunch too!
