"This recipe for Slow Cooker Lemony Chicken & Barley Soup is a wonderful combination of shredded chicken, fresh onion, garlic, fresh lemon juice, chewy barley, and a some baby spinach leaves for a perfect cozy, healthy dinner that’s entirely made in the slow cooker. This slow cooker chicken soup recipe is a nice change from traditional chicken noodle soup. The barley adds a wonderful texture to the yummy, lemony broth. Kale could be used instead of spinach if desired. "
