Anolon 6-Quart Stockpot with Straining Lid

Anolon 6-Quart Stockpot with Straining Lid

Reviewed by Arielle Matlin, Editor,

Simmer up your favorite soup recipe in the Anolon 6-Quart Stockpot and you won't be disappointed. This versatile pot includes a straining lid making it ideal for pasta recipes, too. The strong build of the pot and nonstick cooking surface make it an all-around winner.

A good stockpot is one of the most important items to have in your kitchen. This one has all the necessary components, and more. The 6-quart size is just right for many different recipes, and the construction ensures your food cooks properly. The soft grips on all the handles make lifting the pot simple and comfortable on your hands.

I am obsessed with the lid on this pot. It is designed so that you can use it for controlling heat and straining liquid. It has a convenient locking feature, that works by just twisting the lid onto the pot. No need to dirty a strainer when you use the lid to strain. The pot also features to pouring spouts which make transferring your food simple and mess-free.

I tested this stockpot by making a jam recipe, as well as a pasta recipe. It was perfect for making the jam because of the large size, easy-to-use lid, and pouring spouts. I was able to easily transfer the jam into containers without spilling a drop. The nonstick surface makes getting every last bit simple, and you won't waste any of the delicious jam. I loved making pasta in the pot, because I was able to cook the pasta, strain the water, and make a sauce, all in the same pot. This made clean up so much easier.

If you need a reliable stockpot, than look no further. Not only is this Anolon model built-well, it also has many features that make cooking simpler. This pot is designed to last for many years of daily use.
