I haven't had this dish in almost 30 years. My husband is not a chicken fan, so I quit cooking it when we got married, but I just miss my favorite dishes like this one too much. How many times should I double the recipe to feed five of us and still fit it into a six-quart crock pot?

Hi SissieSass, the written recipe will feed about 4 people. Here's a helpful comment from the blogger - "This will double very well and it will triple well as long as you have a big enough slow cooker. As the recipe is, I cooked it in a 3 Quart. Well...fixed this and it was okay. Too much stuffing to our liking and will add more soup as well as thicker meat and more cheese. Flavor was really good though.
