Could you just omit the extra salt and use salted butter, or does it have more than what you add to the recipe? I have never used lemon curd, what is it? I think your squares sound so tasty. I want a refreshing dessert I can use for a few occasions this spring.

Hi SissieSass, yes you could use salted butter and leave out the extra salt if that's what you have on hand. Lemon curd is a bit like a jam - it can be found in the International aisle of some grocery stores with the other British products. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes
