Do you use anything to mix with the chocolate to melt it like coconut oil or parafin wax like in buckeyes? I think this dish should be one I save to keep around for a girls night. It sounds so decadent and delicious. I bet I have more than a few friends that would love to snack on this little dessert.

Hi SissieSass, you don't need to mix the chocolate with anything in order to melt it, since it will be stirred into the filling rather than used as candy coating, as in buckeyes. I hope that helps! - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes

You will be making the mousse and adding it to the crust that you have pressed down inside the jars. You then submerge the jars in your slow-cooker with water partway up. One and a half hours later they are done. You then layer the salted caramel and the whipped cream right before serving.
