I THINK you would be dumping the entire can of crushed pineapple along with the juice to the cranberry sauce/mixture. I think you would need the liquids. It says to spoon juices over the top of the pork roast. Fabulous taste served with some fresh sticky white rice or jasmine rice, I think. I would add some brown sugar baby carrots on the side as another alternative.

Do you drain the pineapple for this recipe or do you use the juice? I have never used the combination of cranberry and pineapple, so I am very interested in finding out what the combination tastes like together. I love that you just throw this all in the pot and let it cook while you stay busy with other things you need to do that day.
