I have had ham cooked in coke but never ribs cooked with root beer but there is always a first time. They sound delicious. I like the instructions for the sauce as well. I may have to go out and purchase a few ingredients to make these but I am sure it will be worthwhile. I only eat ribs when they are tender and these ribs sound tender. Thank you.

I like to use root beer when I cook pork for pulled pork. These ribs look delicious and the great thing about slow cooking is you don't have to wait for summer to have ribs. These will be great with cornbread and cole slaw. I never order ribs in a restaurant because they are too messy so I will definitely make these for my family.

I want to try this recipe, but I was wondering if you had to use the hot paprika, or if you could just substitute regular paprika for the recipe. I would hate to buy a spice that I may only use for one or two recipes. I have plenty of paprika that I use often, I just have two recipes for the hot paprika including this one. Would it change the taste too much to switch it out?

I love making ribs in the slow cooker. They always come out tender and fall off the bones. I uses several sauces, but we prefer sweet and sour BBQ sauce. I am always careful to drain off as much fat as I can when the ribs are cooked.
