That is a lot of ingredients, but I am really intrigued. Can I use regular chili powder, or does it make a big difference with the Ancho chili powder? I think this sounds like a delicious change in pulled pork. There are so many similar recipes out there that this one is a refreshing change.

I use Dr. Pepper to make pulled pork all the time. Then once I remove it from the slow cooker my family uses whatever their favorite sauce is. I will try this sauce from scratch next time I make pulled pork. By the way, pulled pork sandwiches are great with coleslaw on top!

Considering that Dr. Pepper is my favorite soda and I'm a major carnivore, I can't wait to try this dish. My mouth is watering already...

My grandmother LOVES Dr. Pepper. I'll have to show this to her.
