Bridget's Slow Cooker Pulled Pork is a great recipe to try if you're looking for a traditional pulled pork slow cooker recipe. Pulled pork makes the perfect protein for any sandwich, burrito, taco or stew. Made with a super tasty dry rub, barbecue sauce, and water, this recipe comes together with ease. Combine your ingredients together in the slow cooker, cook all day, and you won't believe how tender the pork becomes. Serve it up in between your favorite hamburger bun with even more barbecue sauce and enjoy this delicious recipe.

Will it make much difference if I just use regular, black pepper for this dish? I don't have the white pepper, and I rarely use it, so I would hate to add it to my list just for it to sit in the cabinet. One of my friends might have some, but I was thinking about just using the black pepper.

Hi SissieSass, you can substitute black pepper for the white pepper. However, I would recommend using less black pepper than the recipe calls for because it has a stronger flavor than white pepper. I hope that helps! - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes

I really love this recipe and it turned out perfectly both times I have made it. But I was just wondering if the same seasoning would work for chicken made in the slow cooker. And would you put chicken parts in the slow cooker or a whole chicken? My husband loves chicken, and I was wanting to try a pulled chicken sandwich recipe if you think this would work.
