Slow Cooker Refried Beans

"These flavor packed vegan refried beans are made in the slow cooker and have a delicious smoky edge to them! Cooking dried pinto beans in the slow cooker is an economical way to fill your freezer with tasty refried beans for quick and easy weeknight meals. I've added lots of flavorings and spices to these beans so they are not just a side dish - they can be a delicious taco or burrito filling all on their own! Make a big batch and freeze some for later."

I love that I found a recipe for homemade refried beans that does NOT use lard as a main ingredient! I apologize if I offend anyone here, but lard is kinda bad for you and I do not like it. Blech! I do not even use it in baking. I bet these beans are totally rad spread onto a tostada and topped with some tomato and avocado. Gimme more!
