The photos of this soup look very good, and the ingredients all sound appealing, except for the Italian sausage. I just cannot handle fennel. So, what I plan to do is substitute a different type of sausage, probably turkey kielbasa. I would imagine that many different veggie combinations would be super fun to try too. I will likely be trying this soup recipe very soon!

I need to try another soup recipe this winter, so I will definitely need to keep this one in mind! I think this looks so easy to make.

This soup looks so delicious. I love sausage and bacon and the addition will just add the right touch. No kale for me so I will substitute spinach. I can eat soup anytime but since it is winter now this will be just right. I am working from home this year and I can make a big pot of this and just heat it up. Add some fresh bread and a salad and I will have a nice meal. Thank you.
