I do love beef stew and making it in a slow cooker is very appealing. I usually serve beef stew over rice and it tastes so delicious that way. Fortunately, I have a rice cooker that makes rice very quickly, so I could get all the ingredients ready in the morning and put it in the slow cooker and just cook the rice when I got home! Viola! Dinner is served and hubby is pleased since he loves stew as well.
