Just a small misprint above- it should read 4 hours on high and 8 hours on low, of course. Now, the recipe states it will have to be strained twice. It makes a lot, too! The addition of the caramel sauce on the rims of the glass is indeed a nice finishing touch.

I'm someone who drinks apple cider all year round, not just in the fall. I've never made it in a slow cooker though, such a great idea!
